Final community meeting
Planning & Design
The MARTA Bankhead Transit-Oriented Development master plan team held a virtual focus group discussion to review the latest concept plans and images on Thursday, May 4. If you were unable to attend, we still encourage you to provide us with your feedback to help guide the next phase of design. Our goal is to hear from as many members of our community as possible!
On Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27th, members of the Bankhead Station Master Plan Project Team hosted three community pop-ups at the Dogwood Senior Center, the Bankhead MARTA Station, and the Good Samaritan Health Center at the YMCA in Bankhead.
During these pop-ups, the team had the opportunity to introduce the project and receive feedback from 120 members of the community. The goal of the pop-ups was to meet people where they are, talk through the proposed changes, and listen to what the community imagines for the future of the Bankhead MARTA Station. Thank you to all of our community participants, your feedback is appreciated and heard.
PUBLIC MEETING #1
On Tuesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 14, the Bankhead Station Master Plan Project Team held a Public Meeting where we introduced the project and listened to what the community appreciates, hopes to change, and imagines for the future of the Bankhead MARTA Station.
